Do healthy ice-creams exist?

With the arrival of the good weather, heat and sun, many people ask: Should I eat ice-cream?

We all know that processed ice-creams are not very healthy. They supposedly have a high percentage of calories and refined sugars, therefore they are not the best option when the weather is hot. 

This doesn't mean that, during the whole summer, you cannot have an ice-cream. You can prepare your own homemade ice-cream with fresh fruit and start using it as your healthy go to dessert. We propose this healthier way to prepare your own ice-cream. It make snacks and desserts more fun!

Ingredients such as yogurt or fruit can offer you a rich, tasty and mostly healthy ice-cream but ingredients like milk or water can also be used to make sorbet.

Here's a simple recipe to follow:

What you need:

  1. A yogurt or some skimmed milk. 

  2. Whatever fruit you like.

Preparation:  

  1. Using a blender beat the fruit and skimmed milk or yogurt to create a homogeneous cream.

  2. Place the mixture into a container suitable for the freezer.

  3. Leave in the freezer for 6 hours.
