Cloud eggs: A healthy alternative breakfast

Cloud eggs are a major foodie trend on Instagram right now.

Like all trends, questions arise as to whether cloud eggs are healthy or not. Do they contain more calories? Are they more recommended than boiled eggs or fried eggs?

Cloud eggs are not of a greater nutritional value, they only differ in preparation mode, taste and texture. They are light and therefore we can say they make a good, healthy breakfast.

The preparation is more elaborate than frying and boiling. So, do you want to know how to cook your very own cloud egg?

Preparation:

  1. Separate the egg yolk.

  2. Beat the egg white until fluffy.

  3. Put the egg white  in the oven for 3 minutes at 230°C.

  4. To finish, put the yolk on top of the egg white and leave in the oven for another 3 minutes.
